| EU delegation calls on Soz | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, May 14 (KNS): The European Union delegation Saturday called on Pradesh Congress Committee President, Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, and had an hour-long meeting with him.
The delegation comprising Daniele Smadja Ambassdor (Head of the Delegation) Kennath Thompson Ambassador of Ireland, Pierre Vaesen Ambassador of Belgium and others discussed several issues regarding the current political situation in J&K with Prof Soz.
Prof Soz told the delegation Congress supports the peoples’ aspirations for a peaceful and dignified life. He also informed them that dialogue process between the political leadership of the J&K and New Delhi will gain momentum in coming days.
He also informed them about large participation of people in the ongoing Panchyat polls held in the state on non-party basis.
