| Poonch Cricket: Big 86-run win for Glamoures Club | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, May 14: Brilliant half centuries by Kulvinder Singh and Sahil Sharma today guided Glamores Cricket Club to an impressive 86 runs victory over Khanakter Cricket Club in the ongoing Poonch District Level Cricket Tournament at Government Degree College ground, here.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Glamoures Club piled up a decent total of 232 runs in 30 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Kulvinder Singh scored 56 runs with 10 fours while Sahil Sharma made quick-fire 51 runs including four boundaries and two sixes. Gursharan Singh also contributed valuable 30 runs with five fours. Mumsafhar claimed three wickets while Tasmeel took two for Khanakter Club.
Later, in reply, Khanakter Club bowled out for 146 runs in 24.4 overs, thereby lost the match by 86 runs. Tariq was top scorer with 32 runs while Naseer chipped in with 18 runs. Kulvinder Singh claimed three wickets from Glamoures Club, while Pawan and Deepak shared two each. Kulvinder Singh of Glamoures Cricket Club was adjudged man of the match for his all-round display.
