Himalayan Ecological & Conservation Research Foundation (HECRF) in collaboration with Govt. Degree College Doda today organized a one day symposium on the Topic “Population Threat to Environment”. The Symposium who presided over by Principal GDC Doda Mr. S.K Bhalla while MLA Doda Mr. Abdul Majid Wani was the Chief guest on the occasion. As many as various students from Doda College & Govt. Degree College Kishtwar participated in the function & deliver lecture on the same topic .Speaking on the occasion MLA Doda Mr. Abdul Majid Wani thanked the organizing committee for organizing such a big function. He asked the students to prepare a road map of effective career counseling for the welfare of the students of this far flung district & also asked the student committee to struggle hard for the benefit of their development. Principal of GDC Doda Mr. S.K. Bhalla also spoke on the occasion. Sumaira Mir of GDC Kishtwar, Rabia Zaffer of GDC Doda & Amit Gupta of GDC Kishtwar Bagged Ist ,2nd & 3rd Position respectively while the consolation prize was given to Samreen Anjum of Kishtwar College. Prominent among those who were present were Prof. Zaheer Abbas Hashmi, Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal Tramboo, Ajaz Ahmed Wani District President (HECRF), Asif Jahan Gattu President Municipal Committee Doda, Rashid Hussain Nalcha Lecturer English GDC Kishtwar Media Persons & other Staff members of Doda College. |
