| Free Medical check up camp inaugurated at Doda | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Doda, May 16: The District Doda Welfare Society (DDWS), an NGO has organized a free medical check up camp at their office at Bharath road Doda here today.
The camp was inaugurated jointly by Mohammad Iqbal Zargar and Medical Superintendent District Hospital Doda Fareed Ahmed Bhat.
In the camp near about 100 patients were checked up by the team of expert doctors which includes Mohammad Rafi, R.S.Chib, S.S.Manhas, Irfan Tasaduq Kelam, Mubashir Gazi Mintoo and Tahir Muneeb Zargar.
In his inaugural address, district president medical employees federation Mehboob Hassan Kriapak said that the aim of holding the medical free check up camp every Sunday at Doda is to reach out the poor patients who cannot afford to go for betterment or even not able to purchase medicines.
Kriapak also said that the DDWS NGO has taken good step to serve for the betterment of poor and needy patients of the district.
Besides this the president of DDWS Mohammad Iqbal Balwan also spoke on the occasion.
In this camp free medicines were distributed among all the patients which became sigh of relief for them.
It is important to mention here that DDWS is the only NGO of the district which is holding free medical check up camp at every Sunday followed by the free medicines to the poor patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Iqbal Zargar lauded and appreciated the efforts of the DDWS for organizing this medical free camp at Doda in which needy and poor patients should avail the benefit.
Zargar further said that it become our responsibility to work for this NGO who is doing great job in the field of better health care of the area.
Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, Sheraz Shenali, Kapil Bhatia, Kassan Hassan, Mansoor Khan and Atta Mohammad Dev were among others present on the occasion.
