| Civilian abducted at Tral, Militant among 2 held elsewhere in JK | | |
Srinagar, Nov 20
A group of unidentified gunmen abducted a civilian at Tral, while as two youth including a militant were arrested at Jehangir Chowk Srinagar and Shopian during last 24 hours.
A group of unidentified persons, according to reports reaching here, abducted 24 year old Mohd Yousuf Dar S/O Gh Mohi-ud-Din R/O Imlar Tral at gun point. The police registered a case and started investigating the matter.
Meanwhile police arrested a youth Tariq Ahmed Ganaie S/O Gh Mohd R/o Reshi Nagri and recovered a grenade from his possession. Meanwhile police arrested a youth Bashir Ahmed Mir S/O Gh Qadir R/O Sogam Chadoora and recovered a 26 inch long knife from him. He was handed over to Police Station Shaheed Gunj where a case under FIR No: 113/06 was registered against him. |
