Delegations call on DyCM | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 16: To listen and facilitate early redressal of grievances, Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand today received delegations in summer secretariat, here today. He would be available to the masses for full week in the civil secretariat. While addressing the delegations which had called upon him, the Deputy Chief Minister said that government is steadfast on its resolve for equitable development of all three regions and work on road map has already begun to address development aspirations of the people of the State. Starting summer secretariat in Jammu is a step in the direction to bring the administration more close to the public, he added. On opening day of the Secretariat, various deputations from R.S.Pura, Kathua, Paloura, Jammu and Samba, called upon the Deputy Chief Minister and apprised them of their problems. Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Sanjeev Verma, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu, senior engineers of PHE, PDD and other Sectoral officers were also present on the occasion. Deputation from R.S.Pura was lead by former Minister Gharu Ram, who brought to the notice of the Deputy Chief Minister various issues of immediate importance of the area. The demands included De-silting of Canal, augmenting Irrigation water supply and installation of power pumps.
