Kashmiri engineer reaches back home | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, May 16 (KNS): A Kashmiri aeronautical engineer, who was arrested in New Delhi five year back on a ‘fake case’, and was released by a Delhi court recently, reached home on Monday. Imran Kirmani son of Ghulam Rasool Kirmani of Nelipora Handwara was arrested on ‘false’ case on November 15, 2006 from his rental flat at Dwaraka, Delhi. Talking to KNS Imran said, “I had been implicated in a false case that I was associated with LeT. It was baseless. My five-years of life have been wasted.” “It is difficult for me to re-start my career. I hope state government will help me as I was punished for no sin of mine,” he hoped.
