| Poonch Cricket: 149-run win for YCC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, May 16: Youth Cricket Club (YCC) registered a big 149 runs win over SCC Mendhar to advance in the ongoing Poonch District Cricket Tournament at Degree College ground, here today.
Earlier, Parvez played quick-fire innings of 69 runs coming off mere 21 deliveries studded with seven boundaries and six hits over the fence and helped side reach a total of 214 runs in 24.4 overs of the 30 overs game. Mukhtar Bhatt also played well and contributed 25-ball 37 runs.
From SCC Mendhar, Qamar claimed three wickets for 36 runs while Pankaj clinched two for 34.
Batting second, SCC Mendhar bowled out cheaply for just 66 runs in 14.4 overs. Masoom Raza was only batsman who touched the double figure mark with 21 runs in his account. Ajaz Khan claimed three wickets and Akhil two from YCC.
For his match winning innings of 69 runs, Parvez was adjudged man of the match.
