| Servad Club wins by 16 runs in Reasi Cricket | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, May 16: Servad Cricket Club (SCC) registered a 16-run win over Christian Cricket Club to move into the next round of ongoing District Reasi-Katra Cricket Tournament, here today.
Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, SCC set a target of 196 runs losing all their wickets in 27 overs of the 30 overs match. Ripin Dogra was top scorer with 64-ball 84 runs including ten boundaries while Sanjay contributed 20-ball 29 runs to the total. From Christian Club, Kuldeep clinched four wickets while Babu claimed two.
Later, chasing the target, Christian Star could not control their nerves at the crucial stages and lost all their wickets for 179 runs in 26.3 overs. Ajay played superb innings of 56-ball 65 runs with the help of seven boundaries while Akshay contributed 19. Vijay was most successful bowler from SCC, who claimed five important wickets while Sanjay took one.
For his brilliant innings of 84 runs, Ripin was declared man of the match.
