Salathia inaugurates upgraded High school at Ramgrah | Announces Rs 60 lakh for schools’ development | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, MAY 16 – Minister for Industries and Commerce, Mr. Surjeet Singh Salathia, today said that the government is committed to provide basic facilities to the people of the state especially in remote and far-flung areas.
He was speaking after inaugurating newly upgraded High School Keso Manahasan in Ramgarh sector.
The schools has been upgraded under Rashstriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan (RMSA) would facilitate the adjoining areas within the five kilometer radius from the school.
Responding to the demands of the people, the Minister announced Rs 60 Lakh for infrastructural development of the upgraded High school including Laboratory, Library, and Toilets etc.
Mr. Slathia said that the Government is aware of the problems being faced by the people living in far flung areas and is determined to ameliorate the same by upgrading the existing infrastructure.
The Minister asked the people to participate in the development programme being executed in their respective areas to yield better results. He also assured the people that Government will take up every step to ensure better road connectivity, Lanes and drains and other vital services.
Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Mr Mubarak Singh, ACD, XEN PHE, PDD and other officers of various departments accompanied the Minister.
