| CEO inspects schools, mid-day-meal scheme | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 16
Chief Education Office (CEO), Jammu, Natha Ram, accompanied by various zonal officers, today conducted on spot inspection of ongoing works on school buildings in zone Miran Sahib and R S Pura taken up under SSA.
He also checked the implementation of the mid-day-meal scheme in the government schools of block R S Pura and Miran Sahib.
Natha Ram visited Primary School Lower Garigarh, Government Middle School Rattian, Government Middle School mill area R S Pura, City Middle School, R S Pura, Government Middle School Badygal Brahmana and expressed satisfaction over the provisions made by the staff of these schools for providing the Mid Day meals to the pupils .
Later, Natha Ram also chaired a seminar on “Save Girl Child” organized by JK Women Welfare Society and urged the masses to root out the menace of illegal sex determination and female foeticide.
