| Awareness camp on SGSY organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, May 16:
With the aim to educate the poor people of the District Doda, particularly the people living below poverty line about the provisions of the scheme, District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Doda today organized an awareness camp on centrally sponsored Swaranjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojna (SGSY) scheme at Dak Bunglow Doda.
The awareness camp was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Doda Farooq Ahmed Khan.
Additional District Development Commissioner Doda, who is also Project Director DRDA Doda A.R Natnoo, PO DRDA Doda Nawab Din and PODPAP Doda, besides other officers and a huge gathering of the people attended the camp.
While speaking on the occasion, District Development Commissioner Doda, who is also the Chairman of the DRDA, said that the need of the hour is to review the achievements and shortcomings of the scheme in the District. He laid stress over the bankers to play their role to ensure effective revival of the scheme and finance the prospective swarozgaries to make the scheme more successful in the entire District Doda.
