| Dr Avinash suspended for beating attendant | | | SRINAGAR May 17: Dr Avinash Soodan, who allegedly beat up an attendant in ward 15 of government medical college hospital few days back, has been placed under suspension.He was suspended on May 15 last, pending inquiry against him, a spokesman of medical education department said.
An attempt to murder case under section 307 of RPC was registered against him.On the basis of the allegations made by Dr Avinash that he had received injuries in a scuffle with the attendant, the government had constituted a medical board to look into the matter.
