| 21 hurt in bus accident | | |
JAMMU, May 17: At least 21 persons were today wounded after the bus carrying them skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Lasana in Surankote area of Poonch.As the bus (JK14/1139) was speeding, its driver lost control over it as a result of which it fell into the gorge, police sources
said.
About 21 persons were wounded. While others survived with minor injuries, the two, who sustained serious wounds, were identified as Riyasat Khan, son of Mohammed Hafiz of Lasana, and Mustaq Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi of Nabana, Surankote.The injured were hospitalised. Police had registered a case in this connection.
