| JKNPP leads delegation to CE PDD’s office | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 18: Jammu and Kashmir national party general secretary Anita Thakur state led a party delegation and met the Chief Engineer PDD Jammu and apprised about the unscheduled cuts and other electric/power supply position in the Sainik Colony which is the largest colony in the Jammu city.
She narrated the plight of the citizens who being the elderly persons and suffering due to unscheduled power cuts in the colony which is other wise fully metered and as per the government no power cuts be made in the metered areas/colonies.
The inhabitants of the area have shown their utter resentment and threatened to come to the streets and show their anger if their grievance are not addressed.
Chief Engineer gave a very patient response and asked the concern XEN’s to look into the matter and suggest means/alternative to put the power supply in condition.
Meanwhile Anita Thakur have also requested the local MLA Yashpual Kundal to intervene and ensure that the authorities at the helm of affairs stick to their assurances and give a relief to the general public.
