DDC stresses time bound completion of developmental works | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, MAY 18-District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Mr. Baseer Ahmed Khan, stressed upon the officers of different departments to complete the ongoing works pertaining to their departments by ensuring transparency in execution of different projects in a time bound manner. The DDC was addressing a meeting of district officers held here today to brief them about the guide lines to be observed during the formulation of District Annual Plan for the current financial year. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Rajinder Singh, Additional District Development Commissioner, Mr. R.R. Sharma, Chief Planning Officer, Mr. H.H. Dutt, Superintendent Engineers and Executive Engineers, Assistant Commissioner, Development, Chief Medical Officer and various district heads were present in the meeting. The DDC instructed the officers to conduct technical check of different ongoing works to ensure transparency, accountability. He also laid special emphasis for holding awareness programme about different schemes of the department for the general masses in close coordination with the lined department. Mr. Khan directed the concerned officers to strictly adhere to guidelines of the Planning and Development Department while formulating the District Annual Plan, adding that, the MLAs should also be consulted during the course. He also asked for submission of action taken reports of District Development Board (DDB) decisions and review meeting of last DDB within a week’s time. The DDC also constituted a team headed by Additional District Development Commissioner to check the punctuality, regularity, accountability and responsiveness in government offices and asked him (ADDC) to submit weekly report to his office. He also released 25% of the district plan funds so that the ongoing works would not suffer.
