| Two motorcycle lifters held | | |
JAMMU, May 18: Police have arrested two Punjab-based two-wheeler lifters and recovered stolen motorcycle from their possession.Police sources said district special branch sleuths received
information that two youth had stolen motorcycle (JK02B/0228) from outside a travel agency at bus stand. Acting on their information, cops laid a naka at Ambphalla.
However, when they signalled two youth, who were riding a motorcycle, to stop, they sped away.
They were chased and arrested by cops at Manda, the sources added.They were identified as Manpreet Singh and Amandeep Singh, both sons of Parkash Singh of Dina Nagar, Punjab.
The Pucca Danga police had registered a case against them in this connection.
Amandeep was later hospitalised as he had got his leg fractured while kicking the mobike soon after they stole it.
