National level seminar on Globalization organized at K C Gurukul College | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 19: K C Gurukul college of Education organized National Level Seminar on the topic Globalization. Professor Rajiv Gupta Director College Development council, University of Jammu was the chief guest while Dr. G Q Shiekh OSD to the minister for higher education Labour and Employment, I. D. Soni State Commissioner Bharat Scouts & Guides, Prof Angral Principal P G MAM College were the guest of prominent honour. Vijay Puri Academic Director K. C. Gurukul presented formal welcome note wherein she said that the 21st century has shrunk the world and the whole universe has become one larger family. " VASUDEV KUTUMBHAKAM" Dr. G. Q. Sheikh in his inaugural address said that education can be globalized in three ways; one by setting up educational campuses abroad. The paper reading session began with the presentation of paper by Dr. Raj Kumari Bakshi representing Sacret Heart College of Education, Jammu. She very beautifully quote that education nourishes in life the mother; directs like a father and gives delight comfort like a life partner.” Globalization of education has infact become the larger Mantra, not only for the pursuit of education for excellence but also for quality empowerment of employment. One of the speaker quotes the national commission report opening lines that the destiny of India is shaped in its classroom and the youth of this great nation is its greatest asset. Paper presentation session was followed by the technical session. In his key note address cum Annual report Arvind Mahajan said, "What can be better fortune for a person than to head an educational institution which is responsible enough for making and shaping the destiny of education
