| ‘Vatsala’- a book on motherhood released | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 19:
A Family Welfare Organization event was conducted at Military Hospital Yol Corps. Commander and Chief of Staff, Rising Star Corps along with Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, Rising Star, Family Welfare Organization and other senior officers and their lady wives attended the said event.
The proceedings began by a welcome from the Commanding Officer of the hospital Corps Commander and Chairperson Rising Star Family Welfare organization thereafter released the book ‘Vatsala’ published by MH Yol.
This book provides guidance and tips to a woman in her journey of ‘Motherhood’, starting from pregnancy till childbirth and after.
Baby bags containing sheets, towels, overalls, bibs, sweaters and blankets for the new born were presented by the Chairperson, Family Welfare Organization, Rising Star to the hospital whereas the Corps Commander showered his largesse on the hospital patients by presenting them with LCD television and Central Piped Music System.
Speaking on the occasion, Corps Commander said that the book ‘Vatsala’ will be of immense help to pregnant women. He called upon the Medical fraternity to treat patients with compassion and not to let personal problems show up while dealing with patients. He commended the good work of providing quality health care being done in MH Yol and expressed his belief that the same will be continued in future.
