| Remain punctual: Qureshi to teachers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 19:
Director School Education, G A Qureshi has asked the teachers to remain punctual to their duties to achieve the goal of providing quality education to the students.
The director was speaking at a function organized by All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum, here at the Government Higher secondary school Mubarak Mandi to bid farewell to Joint Director Kuldeep Sharma on his retirement from the government service.
The director said that all school managements have been directed to ensure punctuality in the schools and immediately inform the higher authorities about those teachers who illegally remain absent from their duty. He made it clear that absenteeism in the schools would not be tolerated at any cost as government cannot compromise on the future of the students.
The Director also lauded the contribution of Joint Director Kuldeep Sharma towards the betterment of education in the region and hoped that he will continue to serve the society future as well.
Speaking on the occasion, president Plus 2 Lecturer Forum, H D Qureshi , recalled the role of Sharma in nurturing the organization as its founder member. He also highlighted his contribution in streamlining of the school education department.
