| Master among 6 absentee teachers placed under suspension | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, May 19:
At least 6 teachers, including a Master were on Thursday placed under suspension by the Chief Education Officer Reasi during a surprise inspection of the Government Middle School Moori in Katra .
The Chief Education officer who inspected various schools in Katra Tehsil today found the entire staff of the Government Middle School Moori absent from the duty and initiated action against the erring officials.
The suspended teachers have been attached with the Chief Education Officer Reasi till further orders and inquiry.
Meanwhile, the CEO charge sheeted High School Sirah for not maintaining attendance register properly.
The other schools inspected by the CEO included, Government Middle School Dhiriti, Government Middle School Chalk Bhagata, Government Middle School Katra, Government Primary School, Sool and Government Primary School, Sarpatian, Government Primary School, Sirah Colony.
