| Mankotia seeks public cooperation for better DH functioning | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, May 19:
MLA Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia, who is also the chairman of Rogi Kalayan Smiti District Hospital (DH) Udhampur has sought the cooperation of the citizens and other social organizations of the town to help in making the health Institution as one of the best hospital of the state.
Addressing the members of the Governing Body of RKS, MLA said that sincere efforts are being made to create modern facilities in the hospital for the benefit of the poor patients who could not get specialized treatment out side due to financial constrains. He said a CT Scan facility has been introduced in the hospital for the convenience of the patients.
Complimenting the functionaries of the Smiti, Mankotia said that due to their sincere and dedicated efforts, hospital has registered new achievements in providing better medicare to the patients. He said that the construction work on Trauma level II
Hospital is in progress and would be completed in next few months.
To take stock of facilities being extended to the patients, the MLA, accompanied by the members of RKS also had a round of different sections and wards of the hospital.
Among others, Chief Medical Officer, Superintendent District Hospital, Deputy Superintendent District Hospital, Project Officer ICDP, Executive Engineers PWD and PDD attended the meeting.
Later, Mankotia also visited the site of construction of PHC at village Ghari and issued necessary instructions to the executing agency for its early completion.
