| Shiv Sena demand action against corrupt BJP MLAs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu,. May 19: Shiv Sena has come up with a strong resentment against the corrupt practice undertaken by the BJP which was exposed in the recent vote for scam case.
Shiv Sena president Ashok Gupta in a press statement issued here said that BJP’s cash for vote scandal was exposed by Shiv Sena and since then the government as well as the BJP high command has failed to take any concrete action against the defaulters .
He said that the suspended MLAs as well as the other in the party are engaged in the mudslinging on each other and are saving their faces under the garb of their respective ill doings.
“Recent cash for vote episode was exposed to public by Shiv Sena. Even the vehicle in which money was transferred, its registration number too was made public. Seven MLA’s were suspended by BJP and their conduct after suspension has proved the allegation of corruption,” he said.
Chaman Lal Gupta being head of Legislative party in assembly otherwise responsible, should have resigned on moral grounds but as no morality is prevalent in the party, he therefore continues.
Also the recent appointment of Chaman Lal Gupta as head of ethical committee was also declared unethical by Shiv Sena President Ashok Gupta
BJP President should have informed the speaker in advance but after suspension MLAs he did not met with speaker for taking action.
Also the three MLAs tried to mislead public by holding a press conference about their non involvement in cash for vote. All are claiming innocent if there is no morality then Shiv Sena demand action against all MLAs.
“Why Govt has not registered FIR against corrupt MLAs and why action was not taken on complaint of BJP MLA Garu Ram by SSP Jammu. Why Chaman Lal Gupta has issued notice to all MLAs to explain their roll in cash for vote during MLC election,” asked Ashok Gupta.
‘We have great respect for RSS even till date. I fell proud when somebody call me as member of RSS but these politicians who claim to be dedicated to RSS has spoiled and damaged RSS ideology.
He said that Shiv Sena will fight till the action by centre leadership is taken and till Govt register cases and hold enquiry against corrupt MLAs.
