| Suitable land for construction of KV Kathua demanded | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, May 19: The former power minister of Jammu and Kashmir Babu Singh urged the state government and the district administration to provide the land for construction Kendriya Vidyalaya at Kathua town.
It is a long pending demand of the people of Kathua to find some suitable land for the construction of KV in Kathua.
Babu Singh said that the district administration should consider the old buildings of the middle school, Government girls school and old hospital , which is situated at the heart of the old city Kathua. Even he said that the land of works centre which is located near the Ram Leela ground can also be considered for the construction of the KV.
He further said that these two localities are easily accessible for the people of Kathua and so these localities can provide suitable land for the construction of KV.
He said that if these localities do not provide a feasible and a viable option for the construction of KV, then the district administration should take some steps at the earliest and identify land for the construction of KV in Kathua.
