| JKTDC employees Union threaten agitation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu. May 19: A meeting of JKTDC employees Union was held at TRC Jammu under the Chairmanship of Abdul Manan Bhat today.
The Union warned the management that if the pending demands of implementation of DA and regularization of daily wagers which was agreed in principal are not conceded the suspended agitation will be started as per the direction of counterpart from Kashmir. It is worth to mention that managing director JKTDC draw 45% D.A. as per Govt. order from corporation chest but he is unable to pay same to corporation employees who earn revenue for corporation.
A delegation under the president ship of Sardar Dalbir Singh met General Manager Operation JKTDC to intervene in the matter lest union will follow the programme of Kashmir valley and whole responsibility will be on the shoulder of JKTDC Management.
The delegation include Abdul Manan Bhat chairman, Lal Singh vice chairman, Sardar Dalbir Singh president, Jaswant Singh vice president, K.C. Bhardwaj general secretary, Mohinder Kumar senior trade union leader, Om Prakash cashier and other senior trade union leaders.
Earlier a condolence meet on demise of father of Minister for Tourism Nasir Aslam Wani was held and two minutes silence was observed.
