| ‘CPI(M) expressed concern over the unscheduled power cuts | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 20: A meeting of Jammu Regional Committee of CPI(M) was held in its office chamber under the chairmanship of comrade Sham Prasad Kesar, wherein the members expressed concern over the unscheduled power cuts.
Regional committee expressed grave concern over the unscheduled power cuts during these peak summer days. They members said that during the past two days even the metered areas were without power for several hours due to unscheduled cuts.
They further expressed concern that the people in general and ill, old and working people in particular are hard hit due to these cuts.
They said that there is great resentment among people against the failure of PDD to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the consumers.
They alleged that heft of power is no excuse after e-metering. Kesar appealed to the Chief Minister to intervene personally to ensure continuous supply of power in the area.
