| JKPCC held a protest against delay in providing land for KV | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 20: Under the leadership of JKPCC secretary, Manohar Singh, the people of the Kathua staged a massive dharna at Shaheedh Bhagat Singh Park.
They even blocked the college road in front of secretariat in favour of long pending genuine demand of providing the land for the construction of KV school building at Kathua town.
On the occasion scuffle between police and protestors broke out when the protestors were trying to halt the vehicles.
The protestors raised the slogans against the district administration for adopting callous attitude towards the providing the appropriate land for the construction of KV school building.
While addressing the people during the dharna Manohar Singh said that the district administration is constantly befooling the Kathua people on the name of KV school building and till date it has been entirely failed to provide the land for KV school due to the some political influence while the district administration has lot of state land lying useless even within the town.
The protestors met with DC Kathua where DC Kathua said that the district administration is continuously endeavoring to arrange the adequate land.
