| BJP, PDP leaders join Congress in Bhaderwah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 20: In a Congress workers' meet held at Gandoh in Bhaderwah, which later swelled into a large public meeting, several local BJP and PDP leaders today joined Congressin the presence of MLA Mohammad Sharief Niaz.
The BJP activitis who joined Congress included Kuldeep Singh Rana, Suresh Kumar, both residents of Kalamul, Hem Raj, Yog Raj, Bhagwan Dass, Kalyan Singh, Fulail Singh, all residents of Taintly, Lal Singh of Kota, Yog Raj of Kota, Gurmeet Singh of Dhosa, Omi Lal of Dhosa and Sobha Ram of Dhosa.
Those who broke connection with PDP and joined Congress included Ghulam Rasool Butt of Kaku, Mujahid Hussain of Givcekr, Imitiaz Butt of Dhosa, Ghulam Rasool of Haddal and Mohammad Iqbal Rather of Taintly.Soon after joining Congress, they said they would work to strengthen the party in Bhaderwah under the leadership of Niaz.
