Jammu, May 20:-
While the Central University in Kashmir has become a reality with infrastructural facilities taking the shape on high pace, the Jammu central varsity is a non-starter. It got mired into a controversy as to who will be the Vice Chancellor. Those who struggled for a central university in Jammu think it their right as to who should head it and this is perhaps the reason for the project getting delayed. Ambitions of some and prejudices of many can be attributed to as the main reason behind the delay in, what could have been, a temple of learning for the youngsters of the Jammu region.
