2298 students from Jammu participated in NSTSE

JAMMU, May 21: NSTSE (National Science Talent Search Examination) is concluded in the month of January every year by the unified council, Hyderabad. This year more than 4 lack 75 thousand and students (475000) participated in this exam across the country.
In Jammu in its maiden attempt 2298 students participated in this exam. From this 11 students won gold medals and 52 students were awarded as the state toppers.
The Chief Guest at the occasion was Prof. M.R Puri, Vice Chancellor (Retd.) University of Jammu. He gave away the awards to 11 students who won the gold medals in this exam.
The Senior Scientist of RRL Dr. Y.S Bedi gave the awards to the state toppers. Dr. R.P Sharma gave away the awards to 27 participating schools.
Surinder Sharma, Director JK channel gave away the award to the best participating schools who included Little Flower Hr. School, K.V-1 Gandhi Nagar and Shiksha Nikatan.
