| LeT ultra's brother among 2 held in Doda | | | JAMMU : Two militant sympathisers, including brother of a top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) ultra, were today apprehended by police in Doda forests.
Acting on a tip-off, police today laid a trap in Doda woods and apprehended Farooq Ahmad and Zafarullah for their alleged LeT links.
Farooq was the younger brother of top LeT militant Zahid Mohammad alias Abu Farar, who was active in Doda mountains for the past three years, the sources added.LeT literature and some other incriminating documents were recovered from them at the time of their arrest.Their sustained interrogation was on. Police hoped to get vital information from them about LeT activities in Doda district. |
