| PDP demonstrate against power cuts | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 21: People Democratic Party (PDP) today held a strong protest demonstration at Prade Chowk against state electric department for unscheduled power cuts & acute sacristy of drinking water, which was lead by Vikram Singh, Girish Sharma, Pankaj Gupta and Sachin Sharma.
After assembling at Parade chok, PDP workers started shouting slogans against state government for unscheduled power cut & sacristy of drinking water.
They were demanding proper power supply & water in Jammu.
Vikram Singh said that power cut has made the common men sick and warned the PDD not to test with the patience of the people and ensure regular supply of electricity. He said that the area is metered but still people are not supplied regular power which speaks how much the PDD keeps its promise of round the clock supply of electricity in Jammu city areas.
Girish Sharma, said that that the locals of the area are suffering a lot because of the failure of the power. He said that if the power of the said area is not restored properly, there is possibility that small kids and minors may get ill.
He said that students are the ultimate sufferers of this behavior of PDD.
