| YAJK to organise district yoga championships in August | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 22: Yoga Association of Jammu and Kashmir (YAJK) is going to organise District Yoga Championships at Udhampur, Reasi and Jammu in the month of August.
The decision to organise district level championship was taken in a meeting of YAJK held here today under the chairmanship of Joint Secretary Olympic Association of India Prof Ashutosh Sharma.
In the meeting it was decided that the championship would held in the month of August keeping in view the upcoming National Championship in the month of December to be held in Karnataka.
Vice President Yoga Association of India Deepak Handa also decided that State Yoga Championship would be held in Jammu in the month of October.
The members present in the meeting were General Secretary Yoga Association J&K Surinder Pathak, Yoga Coach J&K Sports Council Anil Gupta, Yoga Coach Distt Reasi Dayal Ram and P.E.T, Director Youth Services and Sports, Surinder Kumar.
