| Uniform force organizes cricket match | | |

Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) Signal Regiment organized a cricket Tournament for school children of Reasi, Mahore, Gul and Budhal areas to commemorate the ongoing Communal Harmony Week. The children belonging to different caste, creed and religion participated in the tournament. The tournament saw many interesting moments and display of sportsman spirit in the young children. The final match, which was played today between Chinkah-Reasi and Gul, was won by the school children of Chinkah-Reasi, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
In an impressive ceremony, Mrs Denise Bhatnagar presented the winners Trophy to Chinkah-Reasi. Speaking on the occasion the General Officer Commanding reiterated that Uniform Force is totally committed to ushering in peace and prosperity through developmental projects, and bringing together people of all religions contributing to a common cause, as per the secular nature of our country.
