APSCC urges KPs to return to valley
5/22/2011 11:52:34 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 22:
APSCC congratulated and appreciated the gesture and initiative of their Kashmiri Pandit brothers for performing Hawan to bring peace in the state.

They congratulated Zeashta Devi Prabandak Committee at Zeathyar Srinagar for a successful hawan conducted here today. Many prominent people attended the hawan including Amarnath Vaishnavi, Kumar Ji, Bhushan Ji Saraf, RL Khar besides the Committee president Bharat Bhushan Bhatt.

On the occasion, the APSCC Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina urged the Kashmiri Pandits to come back to Kashmir valley with.

He said the Sikhs of Kashmir have been asking the same to them since day one when they left their homes.

“No one can be happier than the Sikhs. Personally I feel and I will be the first person to receive them from the Jawahar tunnel, if they decide to come back. No force can stop them if they take this bold step, which in my opinion will be the biggest victory over communal forces and anti-Kashmir elements” Jagmohan Singh Raina Raina said.

History always repeats its self and same will be seen in the coming years. Sikhs will once again play a vital role in bringing the Kashmiri Pundits back and play their role which was one played by the 9th Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, 333 years ago.

It is a fact that without pundits in Kashmir, Kashmiriat is incomplete. Not only the Sikhs want the Pandits to come back but also at many occasions all fractions of Muslim community, either separatist or from main stream, visited their areas and are urging them to come back. Even from across the border, the Jehad Council-Chief Syed Sallahudin from Muzaffarabad appealed them to come back to their native places.

Beside this many prominent leaders like Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohd.Yaseen Malik, Shabir Shah, Nayeem Khan etc visited their camps and urged them to come back to their native land so that once again the scattered Kashmir could be put together.
