| Boy drowns in river | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 23: An eight-year-old boy Sunday drowned in Lidder river
at Mamal in Pahalgam area of Kashmir.
He was identified as Irab Rashid (8), son of Abdul Rashid Bhat of
Rainawari, Srinagar.
Police sources said he drowned while playing on the Lidder bank at
Mamal where he had gone along with his parents on a picnic.
The body was yet to be fished out, the sources added.
A case in this connection was registered at the concerned police
station.
