| LIC agent among 2 killed in road mishaps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 23: Two persons, including an LIC agent, were killed and an old man was wounded in separate road mishaps here since last night.
Police sources said LIC agent Jagdev Singh, son of Nanak Singh, was last night going home at Gho Manasan, Ramgarh, when the motorcycle, he was driving, was hit by some unknown vehicle near Vijaypur, resulting in his instant death.
The incident took place at about 11 pm, the sources added. In the other incident, a minibus (JK02B/3086) overturned at Rehian in Vijaypur at about 1.30 pm Monday as a result of which its conductor Ashok Kumar, son of Sardari Lal of Nadala, was killed and Karam Chand (65) of Paloora injured. He was hospitalised. Cases in this connection were registered at the concerned police stations. |
