| PUC seeks documents for examination | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, May 24: Committee on Public Undertakings (PUC) of Legislative Assembly has directed officers of assembly secretariat to secure necessary documents regarding audit paras from departments of transport, industries and commerce, forest, agriculture production, tourism and finance within three weeks for its examination.
PUC which met here today under the chairmanship of Rafi Mir discussed functioning of committee with the members and stressed on making working of committee more effective and result oriented. It was decided that committee will take up audit paras for 2009-10 of PDC in its next meeting slated for May 31.
Legislators, Advocate Abdul Hak Khan, Feroz Ahmad Khan, Irfan Ahmad Shah, Charanjit Singh, Jugal Kishore, Kafil-ur-Rehman and Mohammad Yousuf Taing gave their valuable suggestions to make the functioning of committee result oriented.
