| Is Soz bracing up to jump in state politics? | | |

If the recent political development within the state and centre are any indication in this direction, Union Minister for Water Resources Saif-u- Din Soz, after getting high profile portfolio at the centre, is bracing up to jump into state politics.
Sources within the party circles disclosed that the recent developments within the Congress was raising many questions about the intentions of the party high command and Soz was being introduced in the state politics in the same manner as the present chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad was brought back, well before the tenure of PDP ended up, last November.
His abrupt appearance in Congress rally held recently in Jammu is being taken by political analysists as an indication of the AICC plans to reintroduce him in the State politics. Similarly, sources within the party also admit that his participation in party rally is a surprising development as Jammu has been an alien place for Soz during the entire period of his political career.
“His presence in Jammu to address rallies is quite an astonishing experience for party workers and many within the party believe that the man is weaving his wings back to the home state” a congress party worker told News Agency of Kashmir adding that however, it is not yet clear that in what capacity he going to join the state politics.
Considering it a great set back for Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Political analysists believe that his declaration at party rally in Parade Ground where he shared the dice with Soz was a reply to the party high command’s intention, which the former has reportedly gauged.
“As it is an open fact that Azad is running in trouble with the AICC over the Biag controversy, he has every apprehension that he would be called back by the party high command by the next Assembly elections” feels another leader within the party. “Interfering in internal matters of PDP has so much annoyed the Central leadership that since then Sonia Gandhi has never given an appointment to him”, sources disclosed.
Bringing Soz back to state politics is also being taken by political analysists as a pre election planning of Congress to strengthen its position in valley as winning seats there has always been considered a big achievement to boast about across the country.
