| Electoral rolls for DGPC Srinagar notified | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, May 24: Deputy Commissioner Srinagar who is also District Election Officer for conducting elections of District Gurdwara Parbandhak committee of Srinagar has notified the dates for preparation of electoral rolls.
Accordingly, date for draft publication of electoral rolls qualifying dates January 1, 2011 has been fixed May 25 2011. Dates for filling of claims and objections have been fixed up to June 8 while date for disposal of claims and objections have been fixed June 13 and date for final publication of electoral rolls is June 20.
Consequently, the Sikhs residing in Srinagar district can file their claims and objections, if any in the office of District Election Officer (DEO) Srinagar/ Tehsildar Srinagar, North/ South/ Election Naib-Tehsildar, Deputy Commissioner’s Office/ SMC and concerned booth level officers (BLOs) up to June 8, 2011.
