Rs 150 Cr credit action plan for Budgam: DDC | | | Early Times Report BUDGAM, May 24: Rs. 150 Cr have been approved as credit action plan to be extended as financial assistance for establishing self employment scheme units both under priority/Non priority sector for the current financial year of 2011-12. Out of approved outlay, Rs. 110 Cr has been kept for priority sector, simultaneously Rs 40 Cr under Non priority sector. This was disclosed in the 36th District level review consultation meeting DLRC/DCC convened here today. Meeting was called to review the performances of the banks/ financial agencies that have extended credit facilities during 2010-2011 upto 3-2011in the district. While reviewing the targets achieved during the previous year of 2010-11, the meeting was told that out of approved credit action plan of Rs 99.7 Cr an amount of Rs 94.54 Cr were extended as credit financial assistance by various banks/financial institutions under both priority/non priority sector to help establishing 5889 small income generating units thus achieving a target of 95%. Meeting was chaired by District Development Commissioner Budgam, Mohammad Rafi who is also the chairman of DLRC/DCC Budgam was also attended by AGM, RBI Meena, AGM, NBARD P.L.Negi, Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam, Muzaffar Hussain, Tasaduq Hussain cluster head Jammu and Kashmir Bank, beside concerned District officers and representatives of various banks and financial institutions.
