| Ministers call on Defence Minister; discuss transfer of G.B.Pant hospital | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 24: Minister for Revenue Raman Bhalla, Minister for Health Sham Lal Sharma and Minister for Medical Education R.S. Chib met Union Defence Minister A.K.Antony at Basholi and discussed with him the issue of transfer of G B Pant hospital to the State Government.
The issue is already under the active consideration of the Defence Ministry. Union Minister of State for Defence Pallam Raju was also present on the occasion. Bhalla emphasized that with the transfer of G B Pant hospital to state government, the people of border and peripheral areas of Jammu city will be highly benefited.
Sham and Chib assured the Union Ministers that with the transfer of hospital to the State Government, the medicare facilities will be upgraded with 24 hours emergency service, CT Scan and much better facilities.
