| 43 BN CRPF holds handball competition in Budgam | | |  Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, May 24: Dr R.P Mehrada (IPS) IG CRPF Srinagar today was the Chief Guest on the closing ceremony of inter coy Handball competition organised by 43 BN CRPF.
Tournament commenced from May 5, 2011 and concluded today with the final match played between Alfa Company VS HQR Company at DPL sports stadium Budgam. Chief guest on the occasion was received by Commandant of 43 BN CRPF Iqbal Singh and other officers.
In his welcome address, Iqbal Singh said that the tournament was organised to boost the morale of the Jawans besides strengthening their stamina and physique. He said 8 teams from the BN participated in the tournament and a large number of people witnessed the final match.
Dr. Mehrada in his address hailed 43rd BN for organising such events. He said such sport activities will help inculcating a sense of responsibility and spirit to achieve the goal and also let know each other. He reiterated his commitment that such events would be organised in future also at various places.
