Dr Beg rejects rotational CM talk

JAMMU, May 24: Rejecting rumors about rotational Chief Minister issue, senior National Conference leader and MP, Dr Mehboob Beg, Tuesday said that Omar Abdullah has been appointed CM for six years under an agreement with the Congress.
However, he said, nothing can be predicted in politics.
Dr Beg who was speaking at a function organized by Kashmir Socio Academy at Delhi Public School, here said, "There has been an agreement NC and Congress president, Sonia Gandhi that Omar Abdullah will remain Chief Minister for six years. If some one is making a comment over the issue now, it can be his personal view."
Terming Kashmir dispute as a sensitive issue, Dr Beg said, "Till India and Pakistan will not take sincere and concrete steps, Kashmir issue can't be solved. Kashmir dispute can't be solved without a dialogue process."
Dr Beig who represents, Anantnag-Pulwama constituency in the Parliament said that New Delhi has failed to implement the recommendations made by the Working Groups formulated by the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh.
