| Students, scholars agitate over negative feedback | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 25: Agitated over negative feedback of CID personnel to their higher ups regarding student activism in Jammu University, students and scholars torched the effigy of CID wing of the police.
Agitated students and scholars assembled under the banner of National Secular Forum (NSF) and raised slogans against CID personnel. NSF University Chairman Ravi Choudhary flayed CID Personnel for giving baseless reports on their activism. He further said that if CID personnel give feedback to their higher ups, they must be made accountable for their reports because that spoils the career of student or scholars.
NSF demanded explanation from the DGP as to why he was not taking cognizance of the activities of CID personnel for submitting baseless reports. He blamed CID top officials of preparing fake reports and forwarding them, to different departmental heads. Among those who were present included Surjit Choudhary, Sukdev Singh, Sunil Kumar, Balveer Kumar, Jamir, Magan Singh, Imran, Qayoom, Ashwani, Sunny, Malik and others.
