SRINAGAR, May 25: To ensure punctuality and transparency in the day-to-day office work in Jammu division, especially after the darbar move, Minister of State for Power Development Department, Transport, CA&PD, Forests, Environment and Ecology, Labour and Employment Shabir Khan today paid surprise visit to various offices located in Jammu city to inspect the functioning of these offices.
Minister during his inspection to various branches of forest department functioning in Jammu found 32 officials absent from their duties. Taking serious note of the absenteeism, the Minister issued instructions to the respective heads to take disciplinary action against the absentees under rules.
During his inspection to Regional Director office of Social Forestry, the Minister while checking the attendance register found four officials absent from duty which include, Personal Assistant, Ashok Kumar, Head Assistant, Madan Lal, Senior Assistant Prem Lata, and Accounts Assistant, Nisha Bhagat.
In the office of Divisional Forestry Office Jammu, Balbir Singh, Senior Assistant, Daisy Bhardwaj, SFW, Krishan Lal, SFW, Bhagwan Dass, Orderly, Krishan Lal Helper, Kuldeep Kumar Helper, R. H. Hastu were found absent from duty.
Minister also visited Conservator of Forests Office East Circle Jammu and inspected the functioning of the office. While checking the attendance register, the Minister found that 10 officials of the office which include Bharat Bhushan, Accounts Assistant, Mr Avinash Anand, Jr Assistant, Satish Ganju, Jr Assistant. Kaki Dhar, Jr Assistant, Sudesh Jan, Jr Assistant, Shahida Parveen, Computer Boy, Sunita Koul, Jr Assistant, Kunti Devi, Orderly, Deepak Kumar, Peon and Tilak Raj Helper.
Gurcharan Singh, Jr Assistant, Sunita Devi, Jr Assistant, Gharu Ram Helper, Gharo Devi, Orderly, Pinky, Peon, Milki Ram Helper posted in Divisional Forest office Jammu were also found absent from duty by Minister. He also visited Range Office Jammu and found five officials absent from duty which include, Sunita Dhar, Jr Assistant, Padma Rani, Telephone Operator, Bharat Bhushan, Forest Guard, Shartandu Fareeh and Rani Devi Helper.
