Pharmacists arrested, intoxicants seized

Anantnag, Nov 21
Anantnag police today arrested three pharmacists for supplying intoxicants to the youngsters and seized at least 700 bottles of Intoxicating Drugs from their possession.
It was reliably learnt that based on specific inputs, incharge police post Janglat Mandi, ASI Basharat Ali raided the office of medical agency and two medical shops in Pulwama town.
During the raids the police reportedly recovered about 700 bottles of intoxicants from the shops, which are banned for the supply.
Sources told News Agency of Kashmir that the intoxicants were being supplied to the youngsters, especially college and school students, by the pharmacists on higher rates.
One of the arrested pharmacists has been identified as Muhammad Saleem Dar son of Abdullah Dar youngsters.
