Srinagar, May 25 (KNS): British High Commissioner in India, Richard
Stagg, accompanied by other members of the High Commission, will arrive
on a two-day visit to Kashmir on Friday, sources told KNS.
During their stay in the Valley, the delegation is scheduled to meet Chief
Minister, Omar Abdullah, Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba
Mufti, Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and other
mainstream and separatist political leaders.
Stagg will be accompanied by First Secretary Political in British HC, Alex
Bamford, Defence Advisor, Brigader Nigel Wilimo and Political Advisor,
Sushil Erin.
This will be second high profile European team to visit Kashmir this month
after the visit of European Union delegation recently.
