| State billiards, snooker championship begins | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 25: Organised by the J&K Billiards and Snooker Association and sponsored by the State Sports Council, the State (senior and junior) Billiards and Snooker
Championship got underway at Billiards, MA Stadium, here today.
The competition was declared open by general secretary J&K Table Tennis Association and member State Sports Council, Ajay Sharma.
“To begin with, the competition in junior group shall start from tomorrow at 1 pm. About 64 entries have been received in junior snooker category,” organizing secretary of the tournament told SAN.
The inaugural function was attended by a host of senior players and office bearers of the Association.
