Terrorist killed in Poonch linked with 26/11 attack

RAJOURI, May 25: The militant who has been killed by the security forces in DKG forest is reportedly having links with 26/11 terrorists attack in Mumbai because intelligence agencies have found an important document from his pocket after killing him in the forest area.
Sources said that the militant killed on Monday has been identified as Pakistan based Divisional Commander of Lashkar-i-Toiba namely Ummar Khan alias Jangbaz and is resident of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Jangbaz was operating in Rajouri and Poonch region for the last 4 years and he was made Divisional Commander of LeT recently.
The elimination of this dreaded militant has opened new chapter. Sources said that army has found a pocket diary from his pocket where in an important information is recorded regarding the 26/11 Mumbai attack.
Although it is yet to disclose that what type of information, agencies have found from this type but sources said that the information will open new chapter and may help some way in 26/ 11 case.
Sources said that there is also some valuable information regarding militant outfit LeT in the diary besides some codes. Intelligence agencies are investigation about these inputs and they are also cross checking the information of 26/ 11. Sources said that agencies may take help of Mumbai Police or ATS to get the information checked.
As per sources, the militant was part of 5 member team of militants who were slipped from Dogrian area of Baflias on May 8. Two among the militants were believed to be drowned among one dead body recovered from a Nallah recently. Now among the rest 3, Ummar Khan has been killed while two others might have been slipped from forest. As per army sources, both of the militants had received bullets and they were raising slogans from the forest till yesterday but there is no response on Wednesday from the area.
